
Emotional Freedom Technique is also referred to as Tapping. Tapping is something that comes naturally to humans and we often do it without realising. When you hold a baby you often gently tap the baby to help calm the baby. When hugging another, without realising, may tap the person when you hug.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a psychological acupressure technique that involves using your fingertips to tap on energy flow points called meridians. By stimulating these points the negative energy can be dispersed. These negative blocks can be caused by physical and emotional trauma and also from day to day life experiences.
Once restored the energy flows freely again and balance is created in the
body’s energy system making you feel lighter and calmer.
In a session of EFT you will work through your personal blocks and emotions to
find the key aspect holding that energy flow back, then via tapping on points, rewire
how the brain responds, calming the nervous system and reducing the stress response.
EFT can be used on a range issues, including but not limited to, stress, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, food cravings, sports performance, fears and phobias.
